Fridge - Chilled Water Dispenser
Note: our tap water is already filtered and perfectly safe to drink as is. The water dispenser simply dispenses chilled water.
Instructions for refilling the water dispenser for chilled water:
Identify the water storage compartment
Water storage is located in the center of the fridge door above the bottom shelving, and will be covered with a white lid
Check the level of the compartment, if below ‘max’ or empty, continue to refill
Lift the flap located on the right of the water compartment to access. It may require a small amount of force to do so
Using a clean container, pitcher, drink bottle, etc. collect water from the kitchen taps
Slowly pour this water directly into the water compartment
Once the water hits the ‘max’ line, or just below, stop filling
Gently close the flap lid until it clicks into place
Ice Maker
Where to find ice…
The Ice tray is located in the upper left corner of the freezer
Pull the clear drawer on the bottom to locate ice ready to use
Refilling the ice tray:
Pull out the top white drawer to locate the ice tray molds
They may be a little stiff from spilled water being frozen, but should pull out smoothly
Fill the molds with water from the sink or other clean water source
Return ice trays to compartment by sliding them in place
Leave tray for a few hours to freeze
Once frozen, grasp the two handles with the arrows on the white tray, and turn the molds gently to the right so they are in the down position
Ice should easily fall into the clear tray below
Some of the ice may not come out, in which case remove the white top tray and tap the underside firmly on the countertop to dislodge the ice
Microwave
Using the microwave:
Microwave is located in the middle upper right side of the pantry
Buttons on the right indicate different functions, however preset functions will be appropriate for the majority of uses, with no need for adjustments to microwave settings
Use the dial to increase or decrease cook time by turning right to increase, or left to decrease
Turning the dial left will show auto-cook options, with suggested uses for auto cook being shown below
To turn on, press the dial inwards
Double pressing the dial will automatically turn it on and add 30 seconds to your cook time
Dial can be continuously pressed to keep adding 30 second increments until desired time reached
To stop or cancel before the time is up, you can either press the stop/cancel button on the right above the dial, or open the door using the large rectangle on the bottom right
Washing Machine / Dryer
The laundry machine (which is both a washer / dryer) is located in the bottom right of the pantry, and the one machine is a combined washer and dryer
Turn the dial to the right to choose your desired wash cycle
Laundry detergent sheets have been provided for your use, located on the second shelf from the bottom on the left side of the pantry
Put ½ - 1 sheets directly into the drum of the washer with the laundry load
Breville Coffee Maker
Making coffee:
Compatible nespresso pods have been provided for your use located in the middle of the left side of the pantry
Once you’ve chosen your desired coffee, lift the nespresso tab located on the top left
You may hear something fall, which is just the previous pod being disposed of into the below waste bin
Drop the pod into the opening, matching the shape of the opening to the shape of the pod
Place your mug under the machine spout on the left
Press start
Turn the select dial on the right to display the different types of coffee
Once you’ve chosen your desired coffee, press start again, and the machine will dispense your coffee
Foaming the milk:
Locate the small silver jug used to heat and foam the milk. See this video for useful “how to” perfect your froth!
Refilling the water storage:
The water storage compartment is attached to the back of the coffee machine
Check the minimum fill line indicated
Using the clear plastic circular handle on the top, pull the compartment upwards and outwards to remove
Pinch the top of the compartment to remove the lid
Fill with water until at or right before the max fill line
Replace the lid, and angle the compartment so the base is placed first and then slide the rest into place
Induction Stove
To turn on the induction stove press the circle with a horizontal line through it located on the upper right of the buttons panel
Place your cookware on either the closer or further induction
Press the upper or lower button on the far left to select what induction top you want
If the stove top is not responding and the letters Lo are visible then the stove is locked and you need to press and hold the lock button until the letters disappear
When the flashing 0 appears use the ‘+’ or ‘-’ button to adjust the temperate. If the number is flashing then adjust the cookware until it stays solid
Note: the stovetop will only work if a pot or pan is on it as it goes by weight. If the pan is taken off while cooking it will turn off and you will need to turn it back on again
Oven
If the dials on the oven are flush to the oven, press them once to extend
To choose the type of setting, use the left dial.
The below photo demonstrates the photo indicators shown, and the type of setting they correlate too
To choose the temperature of the oven, turn the right dial
Dishwasher
Control panel for the dishwasher is located on the top of the panel
Choose your desired programme by selecting the button
Dishwashing powder is located in the cupboard under the sink on the top left
Below the control panel on the left you will find the compartment for powder
Fill the compartment, then slide the top cover down until it clicks into place
Press the start button and close the dishwasher
A red light will illuminate on the bottom right of the appliance to show that it is in use
Note: please ensure no plastic is placed in the dishwasher, including cups and tupperware, as the hot temperatures can warp and damage these items.
Air Conditioning - Downstairs
Press the yellow on/off button
Use the arrows below temp to adjust to the desired temperature
Press the powerful button to change if it's weak or strong
If more settings are desired then gently slide down the cover to access more controls.
Press the swing button to make the airflow move up and down and the set button to make it stay in one spot
Press the mode button to control if it is cool, dry, fan, heat, or auto
We keep the mode on cool during the summertime
Sodastream
Making sparkling water:
Sodastream bottles are located in the back of the top left shelf on the left side of the pantry
Fill a sodastream bottle to the fill line with water
Put the bottle under the soda stream maker and twist into place
When the bottle is secure, press the button on the top of the machine for around 2-3 seconds
Repeat 3-5 times depending on your desired intensity of carbonation.
Untwist the bottle carefully and enjoy.
Note:
Please wash the sodastream bottle by hand only, as it can be damaged or broken in the dishwasher
Similarly, please do not use boiling or excessively hot water to clean, as this can also warp or damage the plastic
If the soda stream machine sounds strained with minimal bubbles being released, please get in contact with us so we can replace the gas bottle promptly
No other liquids besides plain water can be used in the sodastream. Complimentary water flavoring syrups are located on the left side of the pantry on the bottom shelf.
Bathroom Underfloor Heating
Underfloor heating controls are located on the screen control panel above and to the left of the bathroom sink. Please do not adjust or change any controls at any time. If you would like changes to be made, please get in contact with us so we can do that for you promptly.
Bose Bluetooth Speaker - in lounge
Press the back left circle button to turn on
Press the Bluetooth button to turn Bluetooth on.
PS- LX310BT is the name of the record player. If you do not want it connected to it then press and hold the bluetooth button again until it says “ready to connect”
Connect to the speaker through the Bluetooth on your devices’ Bluetooth
The speaker is discoverable as Bose Home Speaker 500

Record Player - in lounge
Records are provided, and located in the cupboard below the record player on the right
Records are of varied states and ages, a lot are second hand we can't guarantee they all work perfectly
The record player requires a speaker in order for sound to be played, for which we use the Bose Home Speaker 500
Turn the Bose speaker on, it should say PS-LX310BT with a Bluetooth symbol to indicate it's connected to the record player
If the speaker is not connected to the record player already then press and hold the Bluetooth button on the record player until the blue dot is flashing
Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the Bose speaker to disconnect it from the previous device. They should automatically connect as long as no other devices have been connected
When the devices are connected press the start button on the record player and the arm will move automatically
Do not move the arm or needle of the record player, it is all automatic.
Air Conditioning
Locate the aircon remote, typically found on the right side, behind the bed in the wardrobe section
Press the yellow on button to turn on
Adjust temp as desired with the temp/select button
Press mode to select how you want the air (cool, heat, dry, fan, auto).
To adjust the intensity of the aircon press the powerful button located third down in the right
To change the fan speed, press the fan speed button, second down on the right
To set it on a timer when sleeping press sleep and press the up and down arrows below the temp/select button to choose the desired time
To set it on a timer during the day press the timer button and follow the same steps as for the sleeping timer
